What is Customer Care? A question asked by all of our trainers when delivering a Customer Care course. The answers always vary, some would say keeping the customer happy others would say giving the customers what they want or what they expect. Very few actually say what the true definition of Customer Care actually is. We at Keystar Training believe that true Customer Care is giving the customer that little bit extra. In other words going the extra mile.
We try as much as possible to get the delegates to consider their own reaction if they were treated in the same way as they treat customers. Most admit that they would not. I often ask myself is a Customer Service Department really that or is it in reality a complaints department? And if the latter is true why should it be so?
That is why our Customer Care courses have been so successful, more and more companies are beginning to realise that it is much more cost effective to keep an existing customer than to find a new one. Therefore the investment in training does really pay dividends.
