This course assesses and analyses the implication of the new age discrimination law that came into effect in October 2006. Everyone in employment and vocational training in the UK are protected against discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of their age. Key areas covered include recruitment, training, promotion, redundancy and retirement.
